Returning to our normal lives, which we all had before the COVID-19 pandemic, is closer than ever, but it is up to each and everyone of us to continue to be responsible for our goal to come true as soon as possible, the Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said in his New Year message conveyed to the Romanian citizens. “Dear Romanians, we have reached the end of an extremely difficult year, when our lives have been radically changed by an unprecedented pandemic, but we are looking to the new year with much confidence and hoping that we will be able to overcome all these difficult moments’ Klaus Iohannis went on to say.
The Romanian President has thanked all the Romanian citizens for their responsibility and involvement in the ‘joint effort aimed at limiting the spread of the new terrible virus and at protecting our fellows’. Unfortunately, too many people have lost the battle with the disease, the president added, and his thoughts also go to the families who are mourning their dead. President Klaus Iohannis has conveyed a special message of appreciation and gratitude to doctors and the medical staff that have worked very hard to exhaustion and still continue to work and save lives. ‘I wish you all good health and A Happy New Year!’ President Klaus Iohannis wrote in his message posted on Facebook.
