The Spanish had also won the first game in Constanta 75-57. CSM will continue in the second European competition EuroCup Women, together with another Romanian side, Sepsi Sfântu Gheorghe.
Romanian volleyball side Corona Braşov qualified for the second leg of the Champions League after a 3-0 home win against Radnik Bijeljina of Bosnia on Wednesday night.
Corona’s best player was the Serbian Dušan Stojsavljević, with 13 points. Corona had also won the match in Bosnia also 3-0 and is going to take Schönenwerd of Switzerland in the competition’s next stage.
Răzvan Sava made his debut in the lineup of the Italian side Udinese in the home match they won 3-1 against second-leaguer Salernitana, in Italy’s Football Cup. The goalkeeper of Romania’s under twenty-one selection compelled recognition at the end of the second half of the game, when he managed to save a penalty shot. Sava came to Udinese this summer from CFR Cluj and signed up for five years.
