2 RRI emitters are temporarily down

Dear friends,
Radiocom, 2 of the 5 emitters transmitting RRI’s broadcasts, one in Ţigăneşti (near Bucharest) and another one in Galbeni (eastern Romania), are out of service, Radiocom, the company transmitting Radio Romania International’s programmes has announced.
This will affect a number of shortwave frequencies for RRI’s broadcasts in Romanian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and Chinese.
Radiocom has given assurances it is making efforts to bring the emitters back into service. We’ll keep you updated on the situation and invite you to tune in to our working frequencies and our online broadcasts (including on demand), via the download mobile applications available in Google Play and App Store, via Eutelsat 16A and via your land and mobile phones.
