EuranetPlus, shortlisted for the 2014 Excellence Award of the European Institute in Romania
The EuranetPlus editorial project has been shortlisted for the 2014 Excellence Award of the European Institute in Romania.

The EuranetPlus editorial project, to which the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation is a regular contributor, has been shortlisted for the 2014 Excellence Award of the European Institute in Romania in the radio section.
The project was nominated for promoting European spirit and values. The Awards Gala will be held on December 11 in Bucharest, on the sideline of the Institute’s annual conference, this year focusing on the topic “Political and Economic Challenges: Solutions for Europe”.
EuranetPlus is a network of international radio stations co-producing radio broadcasts focusing on hot topics on the European agenda, financed by the European Commission (2012-2016). EuranetPlus comprises 15 public or private radio broadcasting corporations or stations, operating at national, regional or international level in several EU Member States. EuranetPlus reaches an overall audience of overall 20 million people.
The Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation contributes programmes to the EuranetPlus project by means of its channels, Radio România Actualităţi (Radio Romania News and Current Affairs), Radio România Cultural (Radio Romania Culture), Radio România Antena Satelor (Radio Romania the Village Antenna — Department of Regional Studios) and Radio Romania International. EuranetPlus produces and broadcasts on-air and online shows focusing on European topics. Additionally, EuranetPlus organizes monthly debates on citizen-related issues at the European Parliament, as part of the “Citizen’s Corner” concept.
Also nominated in the radio section for the 2014 Excellence Award of the European Institute in Romania was the radio show “Tânăr în Europa” (“Young in Europe”) produced by RFI Romania with support from the European Parliament.
