The United Kingdom’s longest-living
monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, has passed away aged 96 at Balmoral Castle, the Royal
Family said in a statement on Thursday evening.

monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, has passed away aged 96 at Balmoral Castle, the Royal
Family said in a statement on Thursday evening.
The Queen had been on medical supervision in
her summer home Thursday afternoon. Her four children had arrived to be by her
side in her last moments, including her son, Prince Charles, the heir to the
throne.
The Queen this Tuesday had met her 15th
Prime Minister, Liz Truss, whom she appointed to form a Cabinet.
Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne in
1952 and reigned for 70 years.
