This Week…in Your Letters
“Hi All at Radio Romania. Well it appears that Spring has finally arrived here in England, or at least the rain has got a bit warmer, which usually means that Spring is here. I was listening to the many nice comments about Radio Romania in todays Listeners Letterbox, and I have to say that I agree with all of them. I think Radio Romania International is a great credit to your country, and a good example of how a shortwave station should make it programmes, and I wish that some of the stations in some of the larger and richer countries would take some lessons from you. The programmes are always informative and enjoyable, and I always feel that Ive learned a lot about your country and culture, so you are definitely doing something right, and long may you continue. My thanks to your staff for all the effort they put into the programmes, its much appreciated. Usually I listen every day between 1700 and 1755 UTC, but on some days Im out at that time, so I like to try and catch the later broadcast at 2200 UTC instead, and I thought it might be nice to send a report on this later broadcast to Europe for a change. Very best wishes to all, Alan”.

“I had heard your “World of Culture” program today. In todays program you had talked about 2016 Sibiu International Theatre Festival. I found todays program more informative and fabulous. Three performances produced in Sibiu Intl Theatre Festival.”Common people”,”November 20th” and “Moroi”(“the undead”).The actors of these three performances explained more about this. I very much enjoyed todays show. Presentation was excellent.”

“The atmospheric noise made it very difficult to follow what was being said unfortunately, as the signal strength itself was more than satisfactory. The signal on 17760 Khz was better than that on 21500 Khz. I was truly delighted to hear the broadcast”.
