“Hello Romania, My husband just got a new-used radio, and he let me use it- showed me how and I wanted to hear RRI as you have about the best broadcast from a foreign country that we can get. We both appreciate the content and delivery of your shows. We learn a bit about Romania each time. It sounds like a really beautiful place, with pretty nice people. We have a storm coming in, so the reception wasn’t very good. I didn’t get every word, but still enjoyed the show. Please QSL and thanks you.”

“I received your transmission on 11700kHz. This frequency service was received in good condition in the morning in Japan. I hope to be able to listen to your station in the future. Please verify this reception report and send QSL card.”

“Ive been putting it off, but Im finally getting around to using a shortwave I built as a merit badge project instructor with our local Boy Scout troop. I was surprised to pick up RRI, and at 12:35 AM UTC, I heard your station identifier, “Hello and welcome to Radio Romania International, broadcasting from Bucharest.” Your program went on to discuss reception reports from Japanese listeners on the 11700 kHz channel, from what I could tell, and detailing how to make an indoor antenna. The quality of my radio is poor, but thats because it uses very few parts and a random length of wire (about 40 feet) for the antenna, and actually doesnt have a frequency knob to give me any sort of idea what band Im on exactly. As much as I could make out, Spanish stations were interfering, most likely Radio Habana Cuba, which I can receive strongly here. I would guess I picked up 9730 kHz, because RHC seems to be near there. Haha, this radio is really sensitive and noisy, but I made it with my own hands, which is the important part! The reception might be a 2 on my end, but was much clearer than everything else and probably at least a 4 with the proper radio, antenna, and everything else.
I was hoping to get a QSL card confirming this reception report?”

“I heard radio Romania International this afternoon from 20:30 to 21:00 UTC on July 16, 2015 with a fair signal on my Sony ICF-7600 GR portable shortwave radio and using a 33 foot wire laying on the ground. My location is Payson Utah which is about 60 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah. A QSL card would be appreciated. Thank you and 73. PS: I am also an amateur radio operator and my call sign is KI7F.”

“Dear Radio Romania International. I hope all of you are doing very fine. My name is Atish Bhattacharya. I am writing to you from India. I love to listen to the shortwave radio stations broadcasting from far distance and my hobby is DXing. I have been almost a regular listener of your English Service for long. I wrote to you before with my comments on programming and on quality of reception. I was replied with QSLs and by you also. I have not been able to manage time to write to you regularly for some unavoidable reasons. I feel sorry for the silence from this end. You have always proved yourself as one of the best shortwave broadcaster in English. I love to attend your programming on the air as they are the best source of knowledge about Romania, in all respect. I also like your website. However my choice is your shortwave broadcast as I am a short-wave hobbyist. I am sending a reception report on my latest reception of your English language programming. If it is verified as correct please send me a QSL. To me Radio Romania is the best source of knowledge about Romania. Radio Romania is famous for its educative, informative and knowledgeable programming. I just love to listen to you as the content of your programming is a huge source of knowledge in all aspects of life in Romania and the way of presentation of your programming is so attractive also. I also would like to thank the hosts of the programming for their good work. I would also like to have your program & frequency schedule, sticker or any other souvenir if available. Now Technical Comments: I am very happy that I have been listening to you very loud and clear. The reception quality of Radio Romania is very much appreciable. Please keep up this good work. Thanks for today.”

“I heard the song by Stefan Iordache for the first time this time. (Was song title correct?) It was very good & beautiful song! I like this song! He was not only singer but a famous actor in Romania, I could find out from Wikipedia. I hope to listen to another song by Stefan. By the way, recently (a few month ago or so), I did not listen to the “Hit of the Day”. The Program “Hit of Day” was gone? Or this day’s Stefan’s song was the “Hit of the day”. If the details in this report are found to correspond with your station log, I appreciate very much to receive your verification card or letter.”
