This Week … in Your Letters
I especially like your choice of music and this comes across
nearly as well in your daily AM broadcasts as in your DRM ones. I like the
intelligent and general scope of your ‘talk’ programmes, too. Your History
show, your Romanian Encyclopedia, and your more general attention to matters of
history, culture, and folklore are things I appreciate very much.
(…) I hope that what is happening in many other countries including my
own, Canada – the destruction of international broadcasting infrastructure -
will not happen in Romania. (Philip Hiscock, Canada)

I particularly enjoy Sunday Panorama, because I can’t
listen every day and that program in particular allows me to catch up with the
good shows that I might have missed over the week. (John Rutledge, USA)
I am delighted that you continue to
broadcast on shortwave. Your programming is much appreciated – as is the news.
I’m quite amazed at the signal level. (Bill Matthews, USA)
I must remark that RRI is one of my
favourite shortwave stations, not only are the broadcasts extremely informative
and interesting, but they are also fun to listen to. It’s always a pleasure to
tune into RRI and know you’ll find out something new about Romania, its history
or its people, every time. (John Jurasek, USA)
