Recently the French Institute in Bucharest together with the National University of Music have organized an event at the University headquarters. The special guest was the renowned French conductor Nathalie Marin who gave a conference called “Female Symphonies: Being a Conductor Today”. Maestra Nathalie Marin is also my guest in today’s Happening in Romania.
Nathalie Marin is an internationally recognized conductor, actively involved in the promotion of women in classical music. She has conducted numerous prestigious symphony orchestras around the world, paying special attention to the works of female composers and the representation of women in contemporary orchestral music.
