In today’s program I’ll bring you the portrait of an up-and-coming young actress, Alexandra Pribeagu, and we’ll look at her career, vision, inspiration and personal experiences.
Her 2023 one-woman show called ‘Child-like Soul’ hosted by the independent Improteca Theater in Bucharest won the best show award in the Independent Monodrama Festival in Brasov. In this show, the creator and protagonist Alexandra Pribeagu tells the story of her fears through fragments of childhood memories with the help of theater of animation techniques and especially with the help of the Moțata doll translated into English as The Tufted Doll.
“Child-like Soul” was also presented in Timișoara (western Romania) during the international festival Sunlight Theater – Performative Dialogues II on October 22. Let’s find out Alexandra Pribeagu’s story. Stay tuned.
