Claudiu Keşerü had another stellar performance for Ludogorez Razgrad

Claudiu Keşerü scored four goals for his club, Ludogoretz Razgrad of Bulgaria,
in the 6-nil win against Etăr Veliko Târnovo on home turf, counting towards the
17th round of the Bulgarian domestic championship. Claudiu Keşerü
scored on minutes 6, 36, 51 and 61 and had another good scoring opportunity on
minute 56. For his remarkable achievement, we have designated Claudiu Keşerü
Athlete of the Week on RRI.
Seen as one of the
best strikers in the Bulgarian First League, Claudiu Keşerü is the second-best
goal scorer in Bulgaria with 12 goals in 13 games. He is outranked only by
Mathias Coureur of France, playing for Cerno More Varna, who is in top position
with 15 goals.
Claudiu Keşerü was
born December 2, 1986 in Oradea, western Romania. He made his debut at FC
Bihor, then he was transferred by FC Nantes in France, where he played for 7
years. He spent a 3-year spell at Angers, also in the French championship, then
he played for a short time for Bastia. In 2014, Claudiu Keşerü moved to
Romania, playing for Steaua Bucharest. He distinguished himself as one of the
best-performing players of the team from Bucharest.
On August 15, 2014,
he managed to score 6 goals in a match against Pandurii Târgu Jiu, which Steaua
won 6-nil against Aalborg of Denmark. A month later, on September 18, in a
match counting towards the first round of the Europa League, Claudiu Keşerü scored
3 goals within 12 minutes for his club, Steaua. It was the fasted hat trick
ever recorded in the competition’s history. In 2015, he played for a few months
for Al-Gharafa in Qatar, then he moved to Ludogorez Razgrad in Bulgaria,
