football player Dennis Man scored a goal for his club, Parma, in the match
played away from home in Serie B, the second-tier football division in Italy.
Parma drew 2-2 against Frosinone. The hosts scored the first goal on minute 31,
Alessio Zerbin scoring the goal. Ten minutes later, Parma evened the odds with
a goal scored by Gennaro Tutino. Dennis Man put the visiting side in the lead
scoring early into the second half, but Frosinone made it 2-2 with a late-game
equalizer by Gabriel Charpentier. For scoring his first goal in the new season,
RRI has designated Dennis Man Athlete of the Week.
Dennis Man
was born August 26, 1998 in Vladimirescu village in Arad County. He first joined
the local football club UTA Arad. In August 2015 he made his debut in the
second division in a game against Gaz Metan Mediaș. A year later, he got signed
by FCSB, making his debut in the first league on October 2, 2016 in a match
against Universitatea Craiova. Earlier this year, Parma transferred Man on a
13-million-Euro fee. It was the largest transfer fee ever offered for a First
League player from Romania. The previous record was held by Nicolae Stanciu,
who got transferred to Anderlecht Brussels in Belgium for a 10-million-Euro
transfer fee.
Dennis Man
made his debut in the Romanian national team on March 27, 2018 in a match against
Sweden. His first official game for Romania was the match against the Faeroe
Islands in the 2020 European Championship preliminaries, which Romania won 4-1.
Man replaced Nicolae Stanciu on minute 78. (VP)
