Romania has qualified into the eighth-finals of the European Football Championship.

Romania has qualified into the eighth-finals of the European Football Championship – EURO 2024, hosted by Germany, as the winner of Group E thanks to a better goal difference, after 1-all against Slovakia, on Wednesday night, at the Frankfurt Arena.
Slovakia scored first, thanks to Ondrej Duda (24’), but the Romanians’ Răzvan Marin managed a comeback on 37 minutes, after a foul by David Hancko on Ianis Hagi.
Ukraine and Belgium also drew on Wednesday night, 0-0 on Stuttgart Arena, in the same Group E. The result sent Belgium into the eight-finals, with Ukraine leaving the competition.
