President Iohannis designates Viorica Dancila as the new prime minister
The President has accepted the nomination made by the Social Democratic Party

GOVERNMENT The President of Romania Klaus Iohannis has decided to accept the PM nomination made by the Social Democratic Party, in power in Romania, after consultations with the leaders of the parliamentary parties. Viorica Dancila, MEP, is Romania’s prime minister-designate.
