In turn, Srdan Darmanovic has described Romania as an allied country which has supported Montenegro not only on its way to NATO, but also along its path to the EU. Also on Tuesday, the visiting Montenegrin foreign minister was received by Romanian PM Viorica Dăncilă, who reiterated Bucharests support for Montenegros EU accession. RETIRING AGE – Romanias Constitutional Court has ruled that women should have the right to continue their activity until they turn the standard retiring age of men, if they want to. The Court has said the termination of the individual employment contract for women at a younger age than in the case of men might have discriminatory valences and infringes upon the womens right to work. Consequently, at 63 years of age, women should have the right to opt for continuing their employment contracts until they turn 65, the age stipulated by the law for the termination of the employment contract in the case of men.

IRAN – The EU called on Iran on Tuesday to further comply with its commitments with respect to its nuclear activity and announced it is analysing the decision by the Tehran authorities to increase the countrys uranium enrichment capacity. Teheran has notified the International Atomic Energy Agency, IAEA, of its intention to launch a plan meant to boost its uranium enrichment capacity, by increasing the number of centrifuges, Iranian vice-president Ali Akbar Salehi has announced. What we are doing does not violate Irans nuclear agreement signed in Vienna in 2015, an agreement that the US withdrew from, in May, Salehi went on to say. The European signatories to the agreement say they will further abide by it, but this might not be enough to safeguard it, against the backdrop of US sanctions. Iran had accepted to freeze its nuclear program in exchange for a suspension of some international sanctions. The US President Donald Trump has considered the agreement was disadvantageous, because it does not limit Irans ballistic missile programme and Tehrans destabilising influence in the Middle East.
