TALKS NATO headquarters in Brussels is today hosting a meeting of the ‘Coalition of the Willing’ staged by the United Kingdom and France to safeguard a potential deal to end Russia’s war on Ukraine. London and Paris are working on a European peace-keeping contingent, which could contribute to the security of Ukraine. Headed by France and the UK, the Coalition of the Willing is made up of 31 countries, Romania included, which pledged sustained support for Ukraine against the Russian aggression. The coalition’s declared objective is to facilitate the peace talks between Kyiv and Moscow the United States kicked off in February this year, through contributions to security guarantees with a view to ensuring a durable ceasefire and peace agreement in Ukraine.

MISSION A cargo plane of the Romanian Air Forces with 18 Palestinian patients from Gaza accompanied by 29 family members touched down in Bucharest on Wednesday night.
