Grilled meat skewers are a very tempting grill dish although it takes longer to prepare. For instance, for pork skewers you need 1 kilogram of pork shoulder blade or any larded piece of pork, which you have to cut into cubes of around 3 cms. Skewer the pieces of pork onto 30 cm long skewers and place them in a bowl. For an enhanced taste pour a marinade over and turn to coat the pork. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour up to 4 hours. You can alternate the pieces of pork on the skewers with pieces of onion, mushrooms and green peppers.
Remove the skewers from the marinade and place them over the charcoal grill and when grilling, make sure you turn over the skewers on the grill to cook them evenly. Serve hot with French fries and with a very cold beer. Enjoy!
