Romania celebrates National Culture Day on January 15
In a vote organised by an online literary website, Mircea Cartarescus Solenoid won the 2015 best novel of the year award with a majority of 7,000 votes.
A feature on one of the best-known Romanian writers in Paris in the early 20th century.
Held between November 7 and 10, the International Book Fair in Istanbul hosted Romania as its Guest of Honour.
