Please, click here to add your thoughtsReception /Monitoring report March 17 2014 Zulu Date Dear friends at Radio Romania International, I listened to your programming on 6.020 MHz from 0400 to 0500 Zulu date 3-17-2014 SIO Report S = 4 I = 5 O = 4 Receiver used – MFJ-8100 modified solid –state Armstrong Regenerative Receiver. Antenna – 60-foot random wire sloping from 15 feet high to 5 feet above ground over the span of wire Topics heard: News – Including current issues with Russia and the Crimea Discussions on Irish cooking, customs, dancing and etc. for Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations in Romania. Your shortwave radio broadcasts are always very interesting. It was of special meaning to me as I am descendant of Irish immigrants (as well as other European ethic groups) to the Americas hence I found it most interesting to learn of the numbers of Irish folks that also moved to Romania. Once again shortwave radio shows its time proven ability to get news and information directly from the source, especially in times as these with world changing events that are occurring in the Crimea. Please keep up the great shortwave broadcasts. Please QSL. Thank you, Best regards, Randall Shreve 5681 South 6800 West Hooper, Utah 84315 USA
